We needed a gift for a friend's first birthday. As any thrifty grandmother would, I consulted Pinterest. An afternoon of shuffling through pins, an old curtain rod, some ski rope from the garage and a piece of cloth pulled from an overstuffed closet, was flung together and unbeknownst to us, Swaai was born.

The little one and his mom adored the gift. In a video that the mom shared, joy radiated from her gurgling baby as he swung back and forth. We wanted to share that joy with more mommas and poppas. A friend generously offered to sell our swings on his Takealot store.

With the support of my wonderful husband, 2 daughters and granddaughter, who could test and showcase my products, more items were added to our range.
