Who is behind the it all?

Hi, I’m Danica — mom and wife, and the heart behind Tallow Baby. My journey with tallow began in 2020. I was immediately captivated by how soft and nourished it made my skin feel, and as I dug deeper into its incredible benefits, I knew I was onto something special.

Fast forward to 2022, when I was pregnant with my son and was using tallow more and more, I thought, “How hard could it be to make tallow at home?” After a bit of Googling and some experimentation in my dated orange Kenwood, I whipped up my very first batch. That was the start of a beautiful journey to healthy, glowing skin for me and my family.

Today, I’m proud to handcraft each Tallow Baby product in small batches right in my kitchen in Pretoria. Every jar is made with the utmost care and love, just like I would for my own family. From our home to yours, I’m thrilled to share the magic of tallow with you.
