Founded in 1994, Toptots was created to give parents and caregivers an opportunity to spend meaningful, focused time with their little ones while supporting their development through purposeful play. Our age-specific programmes are designed around the developmental needs of each stage, supporting cognitive, emotional, social and physical development in a fun and nurturing environment.

Toptots Hilton is owned and run by Philippa Morrison, who joined the Toptots family in January 2024. A qualified foundation phase teacher and mom to three children, Philippa brings both her professional teaching background and her own experience as a parent to the families who attend her classes.

Warm, caring and community-minded, Philippa is an active member of the Hilton community and has created a welcoming environment where local parents and caregivers can connect while enjoying meaningful, focused time with their little ones. Her foundation phase teaching background gives her a strong understanding of children's development and the importance of building solid foundations for future learning through play and interaction.

Classes include a variety of age appropriate activities incorporating sensory and messy play, music, movement, fine and gross motor activities, perceptual development and creative exploration. Parents and caregivers are also given practical ideas and guidance that they can take home and continue using with their children between classes.

More than simply keeping little hands busy, every Toptots activity has a purpose. Through play, interaction and quality one on one time, we aim to support each child's development while strengthening the connection between parent and child.
