Hello! We are Nature Plays Forest School, South Africa's first forest school, based in Cape Town.

Forest school is an outdoor educational approach to learning, it involves the whole child: heart, body, mind and soul. Through outdoor play and learning experiences, children build confidence, critical thinking, and develop a strong relationship with themselves and the natural environment.

Our Forest School offerings

Forest House Playgroup: For little explorers from 3 to 5 years old

Explorers and Discoverers sessions: For children from 2 to 5 years old, weekly forest school sessions (mornings and afternoons)

Adventurers Sessions: For children up to 10 years old

Forest Holiday School: Our holiday clubs turn school breaks into adventures: creativity, survival skills, nature art and crafts, outdoor games and lots of fun!

Nature Birthday parties: Unforgettable forest celebrations, we host magical forest parties. Den building, water play, fairy gardens, bugs and creepy crawlies, guided by experienced facilitators!
