As a family-owned wine estate, we pride ourselves on creating a welcoming environment where parents can relax while children have plenty of space to play and explore. Our farm features both indoor and outdoor play areas, making it the perfect outing for families throughout the year, whatever the weather.
While the adults enjoy our award-winning wines and beautiful surroundings, younger guests can take part in our popular kiddies' wine tasting experience, specially designed to make them feel part of the fun. We also host family-friendly events throughout the year, with our annual Easter Egg Hunt being a firm favourite among local families and visitors alike.
Whether you're joining us for a leisurely breakfast or lunch, a wine tasting, a family celebration, or simply a day out in the Winelands, Skilpadvlei offers something for everyone. Our restaurant serves delicious, locally inspired meals, while our wines showcase the unique character and quality of Stellenbosch's renowned terroir.
