About Us
Montessori Country Kids is a nurturing, child-centred school based in Schoemansville, Hartbeespoort, offering an authentic Montessori education for children aged 3 to 12 years. As an Initiate member school of the South African Montessori Association (SAMA), the school follows the recognised Montessori curriculum, supporting each child’s academic, emotional, and social development through a structured yet flexible approach.
Led by Head of School, Michelle Engelbrecht, Montessori Country Kids provides a thoughtfully prepared environment where children are encouraged to learn at their own pace, develop independence, and build confidence through hands-on, experiential learning.
The school caters for three key developmental stages:
Pre-Primary (3–6 years)
Lower Elementary (6–9 years)
Upper Elementary (9–12 years)
Each environment is designed to meet the unique needs of the child within that phase, fostering curiosity, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning.
Montessori Country Kids offers a calm, supportive setting where respect, individuality, and a strong sense of community are at the heart of the learning experience. Children are guided to explore their interests, think critically, and grow into capable, self-motivated individuals.
