Toptots Ballito is part of the Toptots Parent & Child Workshop network, offering carefully designed early childhood development classes for babies and young children from 6 weeks to 4 years.

Founded in 1994, Toptots was created to give parents and caregivers an opportunity to spend meaningful, focused time with their little ones while supporting their development through purposeful play. Our age-specific programmes are designed around the developmental needs of each stage, supporting cognitive, emotional, social and physical development in a fun and nurturing environment.

Toptots Ballito is owned and run by Andi Anderson, who opened the branch in January 2026. A mom to two children, Andi brings many years of experience working with young children, having previously owned and run her own preschool in Salt Rock for 14 years. She has also completed formal training in early childhood development.

Friendly, hands on and determined, Andi has always believed strongly in the value of hands on learning. Her years of experience in the preschool environment have given her a practical understanding of young children and the importance of giving them opportunities to learn through doing, exploring and experiencing.

This philosophy fits naturally with the Toptots approach, where purposeful play and hands on experiences are used to support development during these important early years.

Andi personally teaches all her Toptots Ballito classes at Village Kidz in Eden Village, Salt Rock. The location provides a child friendly setting for parents, caregivers and little ones to enjoy their Toptots experience together.

Classes include a variety of age appropriate activities incorporating sensory and messy play, music, movement, fine and gross motor activities, perceptual development and creative exploration. Parents and caregivers are also given practical ideas and guidance that they can take home and continue using with their children between classes.

More than simply keeping little hands busy, every Toptots activity has a purpose. Through play, interaction and quality one on one time, we aim to support each child's development while strengthening the connection between parent and child.
