They are perfectly balanced between natural sweetness, crunchiness from the roasted flaked almonds, coconut and millet, the creamy peanut butter and the depth of the raw cacao. They are sugar free, gluten free, dairy free & egg free.
I love that this recipe doesn’t use any flour or grains, just 5 simple ingredients. I use coconut sugar as I try to limit our refined sugar intake, but I’m sure normal sugar will work just as well if you don’t have coconut sugar.
