About Us
Hatch is a non-profit based in Cape Town, South Africa that was founded in 2015. We provide new mothers in underserved communities with newborn essentials for their baby, to help them care for their little ones.
There is so much inequality and poverty in South Africa and moms in the communities Hatch supports face huge challenges - these are some of the toughest places to raise a child. Many women give birth at the clinic alone, with very little in the way of clothes or toiletries for their new babies, so receiving a bag of essentials really helps with those early days.
We believe that every child deserves an equal start in life.
Hatch relies on donations to be able to put together our bags. Many of items in a Hatch bag cost as little as R20, so every donation no matter the amount will help make a difference. Join us!
p.s as a registered NPC and PBO we are able to provide companies with Section 18As for financial donations, so your company or place of work can benefit from donating too!
