I was a boy mom for 9 years before finally welcoming a surprise baby girl into our worlds.

I refer to my platform as 'One Modern Mom' because I believe that pushing the expectations and the social norms of a freelancing mom is important in my life. I'm not a 'mommy blogger', but rather see myself as an advocate for women on all journeys of life.

I want to show up daily and to create an authentic space where women (mothers or not) feel accepted and seen. I speak about things that sometimes make us feel uncomfortable and help us tap into a part of our hearts and minds that make us rethink the way we have been programmed.

I am raising (at least one) neurodivergent child and learning along the way. I was adopted as a 7 year old girl after a long foster and can connect with people on a similar journey with empathy and love.

My platform is for any women who feels like they need connection or just a sense of familiarity.

I am also a content creator which is a dream job for me. I have been doing this for almost 9 years and still have to pinch myself that this is what I get to do. I love working from home and being home with my kids. I either create content for businesses OR promote businesses on my platform by shooting their product, trialling it and sharing my thoughts. I work with huge international brands on big campaigns, as well as small, local start up businesses. I have the same passion and love for both.
