About Us
For 141 years, the Durbanville Children's Home has been a safe haven for less privileged children in the Cape Peninsula. A total of 144 children from different cultural backgrounds, aged from 2 to 18 years, are cared for at our Home on a continuous basis.
In accordance with the Children's Act, the courts place children, in need of care and safety, in child and youth care centres such as the Durbanville Children's Home. The Durbanville Children's Home, a South African non-profit organisation, is a service of Badisa (NPO 011-891) a church-based, non-governmental welfare organisation.
